So this is christmas and what have you done?
I said a couple of days ago that it didn't feel like christmas,
But I'm sitting here in my christmas jumper with santa boxers on.
Its christmas :)
and i have to say i love it, christmas song, christmas food and christmas love :)
Cheesy i know but i cant help it, i think that the best thing about this season is that fact it gives me the chance to sit and do nothing, drink hot chocolate in front of a fire and eat mince pies.
Okay i havent done either of those but i you can see where i'm coming from
Christmas presents wise i'm done, I'm sorted. I have spent all my money on other people and i hate it, i don't mean to sound selfish or anything but i want all my money :)
What the hell, i'm selfish :)
Heres my favourite christmas song for you
:)
Merry christmas to all and to all a goodnight

I'll be frank
actually i'll stick to Jordan but I'm going to be honest.
This blog has become somewhat empty in recent weeks. My last post was the 28th of November and that is a long time in the fast moving world of the interweb. I never wanted to be one of those people who "only post once in a while" and who's life have no passion or interest. However lets be honest i have become one of them. I blog once in a blue moon and i write of little interest to anyone but 3 of my followers.
So I'm going on holiday, a long holiday. I tried, I failed.
I just constantly feel like crap recently and have nothing of value to say
so rather than spurting rubbish, like some of the folks out there, i will simply not say a thing.
So for now,
i have been Jordan Fox,
goodnight

How is it possible...

That i have a job yet have less money than ever.
i swear it it wasn't for eBay no one would have any presents what so ever this Christmas.
So far i have brought two presents, two out of my 21.
Yes twenty one presents i need to buy and i know this may sound selfish but i don't want to spend my first pay packet on other people.
I'm sorry guys but i don't.
It just doesn't feel like Christmas at all to me, and everyone seems to going on about it lately.
I heard a song in the radio at the start of november.
The films started playing in october.
and shops have been desperately trying to sell Christmas sets since march.
Well almost.
I guess we will have to see if i get into the spirit, i probably will , i always seem to get excited about it.
I think it just the fact that its november and people are acting like it Christmas Eve.
Unless your a six year old child , calm down.
I feel like my heart is two sizes to small , ohhh see what i did their.

Seven ages of man...
Todays lesson is about the Human body.
My art work is really coming along now, i have a good couple of pages of work in my sketchbook and a couple of artist studies.
As i said i wanted to focus on the idea of age and the different stages of it and then i had a real lightbulb above head moment.
Shakespeares Seven stages of man, how had i not thought of that?
All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players:
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages. At first the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms.
And then the whining school-boy, with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress' eyebrow. Then a soldier,
Full of strange oaths and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honour, sudden and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon's mouth. And then the justice,
In fair round belly with good capon lined,
With eyes severe and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws and modern instances;
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slipper'd pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side,
His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank; and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion,
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.

That was the poem incase you hadn't already guessed.
One thing about my project was that i wanted to have a ripped up, newspaper look but i couldn't find any artists that would be able to support this. So one lesson i spoke to my art teacher about it and she suggested Francis Bacon, and i have to say his work is just what i was looking for. Its all decaying faces and mixed up pictures which is just how i wanted my work to look. I have always been a fan of mixed media works, work that have meanings and works that bits here and bits there. Who wants a painting that looks real, thats what camera's are for. I want paintings that say what the subject is about.
I'd love to stay and chit chat, but X-factor is on and we all know how i feel about Cheryl cole

Long time
its been a long time since i posted a blog for you. Mainly this is due to everything that is going on at the moment.
Since starting my a levels i have been only blogging on weekends , but now i work weekends so i just blog whenever i can.
Luckily for me the only people that read this are Stephen or Hannah , so its no big loss to anyone.
Whats been happening in my life i hear you ask..... nothing. Not one thing of reverence, Don't get me wrong i do have a life , jus not one i wish to share or one that you would care about.
so thats that.

One thing i have been doing is my art project. I eventually decided to base it on age and i thought this post would simply be a couple of photo's i'd share with you :)
These are just a couple because i'm lazy and in reality how wants to see them all?
i like how i write as though i have more than two readers.
so all in all thanks for reading Hannah and Stephen
hope you enjoyed it

Reality Bites
Right so next week i am starting my major portfolio in art and i am completely stumped for ideas. Well thats not technically true, i am full of ideas , i am an ideas machine but i just can't find any practical ones.
The project i have chosen is natural forms and i'd like to do something with the human form but i don't know just how to do it.
I've been playing around with the idea of the human body in all its forms , with all different body shapes and things , go gok wan on its ass but i don't know if i could practically do that. Who would i get to freely pose naked for me? Exactly.
Then i started playing with the idea of age and beauty and the idea of beauty at all ages with older people and younger people. With close ups and a bit of Hockney style photo montage. i would also then like to use the idea of hands and the age that shows on them, then with all this age thing i could have babies in it, but again with the practicalities of shooting babies.
I also like the idea of emotions and close up photos that show emotion change. I could do some prints with this idea but they would be dead simple and stuff. I'd like to combine all three ideas in a perfect world but i don't see it happening.
My favourite idea is the human body one but that also the one that would be the hardest to get first hand evidence for.
I could really do with some help on this guys, give me your opinion on these ideas and throw me some more, please, i'm desperate.
I'd like to keep it focused on the human body but the other topics are 'Architecture' and 'Litter & Debris' if you have ideas on them.
I would forever be in your gratitude if you helped me :)

What do they know anyway.
So here's your weekly dose. Fox in the snow.
Listen to it , don't listen to it.
i frankly couldn't give a damn either way.
I constantly feel like crap at the moment and this song is the one of a select few that i can listen to without turning off.
It beats sitting in silence i guess...
Fox in the snow, where do you go
To find something you can eat?
Because the word out on the street is you are starving
Don't let yourself grow hungry now
Don't let yourself grow cold
Fox in the snow
wasn't that a happy post

Twinkle twinkle little bat! How I wonder what you're at!

We lived beneath the mat,
Warm and snug and fat,
But one woe, and that
Was the Cat!
To our joys a clog,
In our eyes a fog,
On your hearts a log,
Was the Dog!
When the Cat's away,
Then the mice will play,
But alas! one day,
(So they say)
Came the Dog and Cat,
hunting for a Rat,
Crushed the mice all flat,
Each one as he sat,
Underneath the mat,
Warm and snug and fat,
Think of that!
Not long now...

Monster mash...

that was halloween then was it? did we all enjoy it. I love halloween, second to christmas , its my favourite holiday. I love dressing up like a dead person. I love eating sweets. i love toffee apples and i adore bonfires. i realise that technically bonfires are on bonfire night but nether the less i love them. I'll tell you what i really love though.
The movies.
I would happily never watch a romantic comedy again, if i never see hugh grant fall in love again i would die happy.
So right now i am going to give you a run down of my top ten movies for the halloween/bonfire season and no , love actually wont be on it.
10) Halloween. An obvious choice i know. This is the only slasher movie that has ever scared me, it was probably because when i watched it i was around 10 and was very impressionable, but i didn't sleep for a week in fear of Michael Myers.
9)The Nightmare Before Christmas. What halloween would be complete without halloween town?. I remember when i first saw this movie. i was around 7 and they played it on itv near halloween. i wasn't scared, because i doubt a toddler would be scared, but i was more confused. Why would a skellington want to have christmas. Of course i was 7 and still picked my nose and ate it, film criticism wasn't a strong point. I have watched this movie more times than i have blinked, well almost, but as an early teen it was on constant repeat and to this day i could probably recite the songs word for word.
8) The Addams family. This is obvious again, but brilliant nether the less. A family of goths obsessed with death and darkness , yes please.
7) The Shining. This film scares me to death. I have to admit i haven't watched this one for around two years so its due for a repeat but it is brilliant. "Heres Johnny!" - Best movie line of all time without a shadow of a doubt.
6) 28 days later. As i have said zombie films are my guilty pleasure. i could happily watch the undead all day and this film is one of my favourites. The opening when he is walking around a deserted london is brilliant, how they filmed that is beyond me but is just a cinematically beautiful scene. did i just call a zombie film beautiful ?
5) Nightmare on Elm Street. If you have ever watched this movie i can guarantee you didn't sleep for at least two days. It terrifies me, as a person who adores to sleep i hated this movie but loved it all at the same time.
4) Willy Wonka, the original know what your thinking, halloween and willy wonka? but the boat scene. Why build a wonderful magical chocolate factory with singing dwarfs and then ruin it with a tunnel full of corpses and nightmares. mmmm that puts me in the mood for some chocolate. Another reason this is on the list, it is year round brilliance. i have watched this film three times this year so far and by 2010 that number with have at least gone to 5.
3) The witches. Another childhood favourite here with this Roald Dahl adaptation. what makes this movie has to be Anjelica Huston. The woman is just designed to scare children. Addams family i can deal with, in this she is just vicious. What i adore about this movie is the fact it is 100% for children but my nan loves it anyway, and who can blame her?
2) Beetlejuice. my favourite Burton film of all time, its is just pure cinematic brilliance. What i love about this film is that Burton seems to have brought a cartoon to life without damaging any of its childhood imagination. My favourite scene has to be when they throw a dinner party and end up singing the banana boat song . sheer excellence.
1) Donnie Darko. This film is one of my favourites. Troubled teens, giant rabbits and time travel what more does a film need. I won't go to into detail with the plot because thats not my style but i urge you to watch this movie, it's brilliant. what i love about it is ican watch it again and again and see something new each time and it has an amazing soundtrack from tears for fears to Duran Duran , who could ask for more ?
So that was my top ten , i hope you enjoyed them and i hope you will give them a watch
i know i will have to have a nice movie marathon in the near future
until next time...

Reason number 293...

I haven't posted in what seems like forever, well about a week.
Alots been happening in the last week actually, i have just been failing to write it down.
The main reason i called you all here today however is to tell you about my new job, I went for an interview on tuesday at morrisons and i got the job. Excellent. I have been searching since july and what is now, November? But yeah i eventually got one :)
I just thought i'd share that with you :)
look i know what your thinking , i've gone to all the effort to come to this blog to hear about Morrisons?
So here is a video for you. Bon Iver - For Emma.
i think this is my favourite song from the album but there a few :) I'd like to make this post longer but i have work in about ten minutes so need to head out.
I enjoy saying that... makes me feel mature
until next time

Autumn hanging down all the trees are draped like chandeliers

It's official, as of 2 am British summer time was over.
Thats it then is it?
One week of sun and then a thousand rain falls.
That was summer 2009.
But i supposed we have to power through don't we...
I personally couldn't care either way if was never sunny again. I enjoy the rain, but then again i'm born and bread in Britain so haven't had much choice, i'm afraid its like it or lump.
I certainly like it.
Dont get me wrong i majority dislike little rain, rain that spits but comes to nothing. I am a fan of heavy rain, rain that makes puddles and rain that clears everything away.
none of that spitting crap.
But enough about the beautiful British weather, heres a nice song for you by the kings that our
Belle & Sebastian. I couple of posts ago i said they were becoming on of my favourite bands, Well they are there. Top of the music pile and i rightly believe they should be in yours ,so here is Wrapped Up In Books.
Hannah has her Sunday playlist I may produce my "Sunday Belle and Sebastian song" . That is how much i am in love with these guys.

I'l be honest
When i was young i used to stick pictures on my wall, then a couple of days later i'd take them all down and stick new ones up.
I buy a new shirt , wear it once and then want a new one.
What can i say, its part of my character.
So i changed my logo again and i will probably change it again within the week.
I am the type of person who has to love how something looks before they'll touch it, my art for example , i spend the majority of the time perfecting the background on the pages before i even think about adding anything real. My blog? I spend several hours making it look good then post a 30 second post. Well 30 second may be an exaggeration but its true.
ANYWAY....
i thought i'd give you all a give you all a treat and do a little tribute to one of my best friends Hannah and you guys my video of the week.
This is one of favourite bands at the minute and one of my all time favourite songs and the video isn't half bad either :)
So here it is - Belle and Sebastian - The Blues Are Still Blue
enjoy :)

You are the Sun, You are the only one....

I cannot wait until the end of Lutterworth.
Lately i've been inching to get away from this town, that sounds like a song lyric.. its not. No but seriously I need to stretch my legs and get out of this place, its driving me mental. I'm feeling a gap year before uni, just to completely fuck off from everything.
I have all these plans of where i want to go and what i want to do, but being the world it is i doubt they'll happen.
Work my away the world with a couple of friends.
I think its the winter that's brought this all on, that and the feeling on being stuck here forever. Everyone just walks around like mindlessly all day and i'm tired of it. I want something more, i want to scratch my itch
Imagine it, You, Friends,Music and the world at your feet.

Its back.....

Of course i'm taking about X-factor.
The live shows started tonight, as if you don't know. You cannot live in this country and not know.
So if you missed it, which i doubt, my favourite act was the first one, but if i'm honest i was disappointed by it all.
As of yet they no where near measure up to last years acts. I'm a fan of Olly Murs (sp?) but i still don't really think he can win.
I would have my money on Stacy Soloman, She is thick as old boots and has the face of a horse but wow she can sing. She opens her mouth and i get mesmerised then she starts talking and i take a a knife to my wrists, but i think thats part of her charm.
but lets be honest, there is one real reason i watch it , and the rest of the men of britain, and heres a clue, its not Dannii Minogue...
Cheryl Cole. Voted sexist woman of 2009 and i couldn't agree more. just look at her... not a fault i can pick. She has slowly become a favourite of mine, she used to be a real chav in girls aloud to start but she's really 'blossomed' in the last couple of years. Back to X-Factor , i think i will continue to watch it and i think i will be as addicted as ever but i don't expect anything great from this group, but who knows it may all change.
If you haven't watched it, don't let my happy happy post put you off , it is a good show....

Guilty pleasures...
its liberating...
1) The smell of old clothes and warm bread... perhaps not together but they are an addiction
2) Zombie movies- Shaun of the dead, Dawn of the dead, Resident evil, 28 days later... You get the picture , Nothing more satisfying that watching a dead man eating a cheerleader.
3) Eating squirt cheese right out of the packet, it's beautiful , especially on top of chocolate.
4) Listening to Pink 'Missunderstood'-I used to listen to this album when i was younger.... and i still like it
5) Reading childrens books,I don't even feel guilty about this one
Peter Pan , Alice in wonderland and of course..
6)Listening to Vera Lynn while doing coursework, it make you work faster, i swear....
7) Wearing my Pyjamas all weekend and living in my own filth, i work all week , why should i bother at weekends :)
8) Right heres a really guilty one.... my guilty crush, you know know everybody has one, you'd think it would be Michelle Obama but i'm bot guilty about that one .No my guilty crush is much worse. She's 64, that is older than my nan.
but here she is Helen Mirren
9) Biting my finger nails, i've done it since i was little and try as i may i can't stop, that nail stuff didn't work on me, i liked the taste :S
10) Reading the problem pages and to make myself feel better, theres always some ones life more embarrassing that yours
my favourite this week was "I'm too ugly to have a girlfriend" :')
So thats that.... Hope you enjoyed it
and hope you post your own :)

Touch my Mcmuff...
The stress I have experienced to get it.....
First of all Leicester Fosse park pc world was shut, then the pc world in coventry didn't have any in stock.
Soooo this morning i raced into town at 8:30... shops don't open until nine :)
So i had a Mcdonalds break fast and that was nice...

Obesity ridden but beautiful
So then i buy the charger , which sets me back £58.00, and go to catch the bus ...
two arriva's didn't come, two.
So i got the 140 and went school.
It sounds less painfully stressful on here.
but i was, and don't even get me started on drama today.
But yeah so thats why i haven't blogged in a couple of days , that and the huge amount of written work i have.
But thats life i guess.
I'm currently so behind on everything. I NEED to see the invention of lying and Toy story in 3-d , despite it's just an excuse for pixar to milk us of a bit more money before the third instalment of toy story.
Also recently was watching tv and heard this song and haven't been able to shift it from my head ever since.
So i thought i'd share it with you ......
Thats all for now folkss...
By the way if anyone could lend me the Kill Bill's it would be much appreciated.

"I don't do single file ,its just not me "
This has been the best weekend in a long time.
Friday started with Sofie's 17th birthday meal down at Nando's , which was lovely :)
and then it was Suzanne's 18th costume party... Well that was of course an unbelievable laugh.
Adam Ant , John Lennon, Alex DeLarge, a Twister-board, Minnie Mouse.... to name but a few.
But what a laugh it was, music, friends and costume. Who needs more on a Saturday night?
But then came the real highlight. The one and only Florence Welch and her wonderful machine.
What a gig. She is such a showman ..show-woman?, But seriously I was blown away by her and i can safety say so were
Hannah and Cat. It was the beautiful stage set i'd ever seen and the music was perfect, no better than perfect.
When she first came on stage, i thought she seemed some what arrogant, but wow was i wrong. She was so down to earth and friendly.
Look at me, speaking like i met her. I didn't :|
I am officially in love with her though, and i know i'm not the only one.

Let's face it, your kidding yourself if you don't see the attraction, any woman with legs like that is fine by me ;)

She is mind blowing, her music, her stage presence, her stage , her outfit.
She is a God.
and Cat's one liners were comedy gold, I'm might start a book and just jot them down as she speaks.
"Can you get in single file please?"
"I don't do single file ,its just not me "
or another favourite of the day...
"I THINK I'VE JUST BEEN PICK POCKETED...oh no , i don't have any pockets"
Gold, Comedy gold
